“Truly grateful for the love and support of Asia. With no family in town, and wanting a natural birth, I knew I needed some real support. Hiring a doula seemed like the perfect plan and it was! Asia was everything I needed and more. I wanted to stay home as long as possible so that I could avoid all interventions at the hospital. She did just that. She got me in the shower and helped me stay focused without giving up. I know if she hadn't been there I would've lost it. By the time we got to the hospital I was almost fully dilated, and had my baby in less than two hours with no drugs. I was really scared with all the ‘first baby’ stories but that was not my experience and I believe it was the lack of interventions that made it go quicker—that wouldn't have been possible without Asia.
